I am all over wallpaper this week. It includes a vision for my closet... stay tuned for the revealing. A few companies now make removable wallpaper which is so handy and basically eliminates all the reasons that people used to hate it (messy and impossible to take down).

mixology: bold accent walls

If you have a case of the living room blues, a bold accent wall is a sure cure. I am very into bright colors right now as well as dark walls with white contrasts.

This little nugget is my friend Lindsey's masterpiece. She spotted it at a garage sale and based on the original color and not-so-pretty appearance, her first impression was ICK! But it only took a few cans of metallic spray paint and one tired finger... and ta-da!
